Synapse overview with the Co-Founders

Members share their Synapse experience

1   Value Proposition

Synapse members who contribute to, and participate fully in the opportunity of being part of a vibrant Hub grow in status as business leaders, find better connections to the community and realize their Hub membership is a significant value to their business.

4   Hub Members

In each Hub, everyone counts, everyone is a marketing professional for each other, understanding the core values and goals of one another’s businesses and growing into an effective team for the greater good of all.

3   Hub Leadership

Hub leaders work with Synapse management to identify the initial core group of members that can best work together to generate business for all – plus create the style, look and feel of that particular Hub experience.

“The difference between Synapse and other networking groups is that it works. It’s a place where community leaders and entrepreneurs can come together and easily connect. I’m just lucky enough to be a part of a great team of some amazing individuals.”

Sam Anderson. CEO Richmond Bubble Soccer, Cycul, Anderson Consulting

“I’ve been a Synapse member for what, about 4 weeks, and I can tell you that through connections I’ve already made, I’ve received back the value of my membership dues many times over.”

Scott Dixon, Realtor and entrepreneur

“Synapse is amazing. I have been a member for almost four months and this organization is like no other business network I have seen or been a part of. I was with one organization for over 8 years and have tried all of the others in town. This is not like your traditional business networks. The quality of people and instant credibility you get when you first meet someone is amazing. You can just tell you can refer them to one of your good customers or friends & know they will be taken care of. And I have to say the quality of the individuals & caring about our local community and non-profit partners has made me want to become one of those individuals myself. It’s not all about doing business but a lifestyle that you can be proud to be a part of. Thank you Synapse for allowing me the opportunity to be a part of such a wonderful organization. Oh, and I almost forgot that in the 4 month’s that I have been a part of Synapse, the connections that I have made have been more profitable than the connections that I made at the other organization in over 8 years!”

Membership Benefits

With an annual membership, you choose a “home” Hub and also have unlimited visit privileges to ALL other Synapse Hubs, as well as participation in monthly Happy Hour Hubs.

Community Involvement

Community support strategies are an important part of the Synapse model and nonprofit organizations are represented in each Hub. This option exposes the nonprofit to companies that they might otherwise not have had the opportunity to work closely with, and vice versa – both for support and capacity building, while potentially connecting Hub members to the nonprofit’s own extended network.

Business Networking

The discussions, efforts, and intentions are to build successful personal business connections for those in the group. Our value proposition is created by the synergy of the right people connecting and collaborating. Our Hub members are a totally diverse group committed to their own success and the success of everyone else in the Synapse group. Our entire approach is to get the right people in the room. That way, we create more mutually beneficial business relationships.

Hub Leadership Opportunities

We are continually looking for the right people to lead newly-formed Hubs in all areas. Specifically built around each Hub leader according to the business needs of that individual, Hubs evolve into effective mutual assistance units. Hub demographics are also dynamic in response to members’ needs, e.g., women-owned, veteran-owned, under 35s, over 60s, minority-owned, or whatever works for the group. Realistic needs assessments result in a focused effort to provide fertile business opportunities for members, while no cost or low cost education and coaching modules extend the abilities and effectiveness of all.
